Just a little recipe and how-to- video for making a favorite dish I’ve been making in some form or other since I was in college. I now call it “Gorge Rat Hash”. It makes a really great dehydrated trail food! Combine this with some home-made cornbread croutons and you have a party in a cup on the trail!
The key ingredient to this recipe is fresh ingredients and Bush Country Style Beans. You can substitute but I strongly reccmd. giving the Bush beans a try. I also show a fresh Jalapeno … if you have access and can make your own Chiplote (smoked Jalapenos) then most definitely use them! That’s the way to really make this recipe pop!
